Mixing color: Basic 12 Step Color Wheel

Only use colors: Cadmium Yellow, Cerulean Blue + Cadmium Red

Transfer the line drawing of the wheel from the handout to the canvas paper.
Use a compass with a pencil for the circle and ruler and pencil for the straight lines and apply “softly” so that you can erase lines later.

1. Paint primaries (Y + B + R)
2. Mix and paint the 3 secondary colors (O + V + G)
3. Mix and paint the 6 tertiary colors (Y–O + R–O + R–V + B–V + B–G + Y–G) For sizes and placements please refer to the handout with the outlined Wheel.

Neatness is very important. Use the tape to create straight lines once the paint is dry.
